Fellowship Description This year, a group of colleagues from across the University have been working on the development of a proposal to more deftly support outreach initiative in STEM fields. Currently, University faculty, students and staff all work to provide outreach and engagement opportunities, while often unaware of precedent, best practices, or existing relationships. The staff group - which includes DEI Outreach and STEM outreach professionals and others- is working to develop the rationale, competitive intelligence, and overarching support for a new STEM Outreach initiative to better support these efforts. We seek a UAF to help us gather, sort and report out information about how we can move an initiative forward at the University. The UAF will have the opportunity to engage with staff and faculty from across campus who are working on these issues, while providing critical support to the creation of a proposal.
