Princeton Innovation UAF

Fellowship Description

Princeton Innovation is a campus-wide initiative that aims to benefit humanity through innovation and entrepreneurship. Responsibilities for this fellowship will include collaborating closely with the Assistant Director of Innovation on:

  • Designing and leading a new Innovation Internship initiative which will pair Princeton University student interns with startups and venture capital firms for experiential internships
  • Developing pathways and processes for Princeton faculty, students and staff to easily and seamlessly access innovation and entrepreneurship offerings
  • Creating, executing and coordinating a mentorship program for Princeton-affiliated startups
  • Monitoring websites for mentions of Princeton-affiliated startups, creating and posting high-quality content to help bring innovative scientific stories to life, translating science into compelling graphics and visuals and other marketing and communications efforts

Other responsibilities can be assigned based on applicants’ interest. Candidates must have an interest in innovation and entrepreneurship but no experience is required.

Christina Pellicane is the Assistant Director of Innovation and Lead Instructor for the NSF I-Corps Northeast Hub at Princeton University and COO at Lignolix, a chemical tech startup. She is a certified national NSF I-CorpsTM Instructor and Lean Launchpad educator at schools and incubators around the world. Most recently, she was the first Director of Commercialization for University of Delaware’s Horn Entrepreneurship Center where she managed several initiatives including a $2M Proof of Concept fund and the UD I-Corps Site.
