James M. Van Wyck is an Assistant Dean for Professional Development in the Office of the Dean of the Graduate School.
Prior to Princeton, he worked for Robert Weisbuch and Associates (RWA), where he served as a senior research fellow and associate. He was also a multi-year postdoctoral fellow at Fordham University, where he taught literature, public speaking, composition, and upper-level electives including "Literature and Leadership." James holds a Ph.D. in English literature and languages/letters from Fordham University, an M.A. in English literature from the University at Buffalo, and a B.A. in English from William Paterson University.

- University Administrative Fellows program, Community College Teaching Fellowships, and GradFUTURES learning cohorts
- Professional development communications including website, weekly bulletin, and social media
- Annual projects, including research and data collection for Ph.D. career outcomes tracking and surveys administered to students and alumni
