We would like to reiterate the sentiments expressed in the message by President Eisgruber in condemning the hateful and violent acts toward the Asian community. We stand in solidarity with our Asian, Asian American, and Pacific Islander American Community and call upon the campus community to come together in allyship.

In these difficult times, we encourage you to reach out and connect with your peers, advisers, staff in the Office of the Dean of the Graduate School, and the many campus support systems that continue to be available to you. On Friday, March 19 from 12pm-1pm, the Graduate School in partnership with Sue Kim from Counseling and Psychological Services (CPS) is hosting a listening circle for our Asian Graduate Student community. We invite you to join for an opportunity to share your feelings, hear from others, or simply to be in community with others. Please join using the Zoom link, Meeting ID: 949 4664 7541. If you have questions about the event, please contact Sue Kim at
