Tao is a fourth-year graduate student in the Department of Chemistry at Princeton University, who is interested in statistical studies and optics. When no one is around, Tao is also a breakdancer.
"I have been grateful to be connected with my GradFUTURES mentor. Grad school is anything but an easy trip so having someone who has already passed the finish line to share the experience with me is a great blessing I have had in the special year of 2020. Not to mention my mentor is such a caring and thoughtful person who is always accessible regardless of his busy daily schedule! One way to expand the width of one's life is to talk with many other people. This principle goes way beyond the scenario of simply exchanging ideas: also including modifying one's life trajectory due to the exposure to a plethora of possibilities."
