Position Communications Specialist, School of Engineering and Applied Science Website https://www.linkedin.com/in/wslyon/ Bio/Description Scott is a communications specialist in Princeton's School of Engineering and Applied Science. In this role he tells stories for a broad audience about the big technical questions of the day, covering 60+ faculty and 400+ students and researchers. Those stories appear across various media, including news and feature articles, social media posts, short videos, photo spreads and email newsletters. Before coming to Princeton, Scott produced narrative and documentary films that aired on PBS and HBO and won awards at major international film festivals. He founded two nonprofit literary organizations, one that worked with men inside Tennessee's death row and another that brought to life first-person multimedia accounts from Nashville's diverse refugee population. He also ran the marketing team at Nashville's leading wine and spirits retailer. Scott holds an MFA in creative writing from Vanderbilt University and a bachelor's degree in applied mathematics from Appalachian State. He is from North Carolina.
