Bio/Description

Pilar Castro-Kiltz '10 is the CEO and founder of More Canvas Consulting. Launched in 2014, the firm offers services in strategic planning, operations improvement, and communications management to a portfolio of clients across industries, with special expertise in higher education, healthcare, social impact, and the arts. Pilar’s approach, which connects strategy with storytelling, draws both from her professional experience and her training at The Wharton School at The University of Pennsylvania and NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, where she earned an MBA and MFA, respectively.

Driven to fortify access to and experiences in the arts, in 2013 Pilar founded Princeton Arts Alumni—a non-profit organization that engages Princeton University students and alums to build a network for mentorship, resources, and experiences that illuminate pathways to careers and participation in the arts. "Always be cross training. Those experiences that seem most distant from your current course of study may offer the greatest insights. Stretch into realms of the unknown, then synthesize what you discover there with your current set of relationships, experiences, and skills. Make this a habit and you may spur growth and innovation time and time again."
