Leanne M. Horinko is the Graduate Program Assistant at Princeton University, and serves on the Professional Development Working Group. She supports the graduate programs in History of Science and History in a range of academic processes including their initial visit to campus as newly admitted students, organizing dissertation defenses and the department's dossier service. Prior to joining Princeton’s History Department, Leanne worked for eight years in Graduate Admissions, where her professional portfolio included the day-to-day strategic planning of graduate school enrollment in addition to the research and development of new graduate programs. In 2016 she co-organized the Crossroads: The Future of Graduate History Education conference at Drew University. Her professional publications have appeared in The Canadian Review of American Studies as well as on Inside Higher Ed’s GradHacker column, the Organization for American Historians’ blog, Process: A Blog for American History. She received her MA in History from Drew University. She has also worked with Authorship in Modern American Textbooks (AMAT), a digital humanities project.
