Position University Administrative Fellow Email [email protected] Bio/Description Dylan Blau Edelstein is a 3rd-year PhD student in the Spanish and Portuguese Department at Princeton University. His research looks broadly at the intersections between literature and psychiatry in 20th-century Latin America, with a particular focus on Brazil. His work has appeared in the Journal of Lusophone Studies, with his translations appearing in publications by Routledge, Taylor Francis, and several academic journals. He was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to spend the year of 2018 in Brazil conducting research on the early life and career of psychiatrist and art-therapy pioneer Nise da Silveira. He has a background in theater, acting, and translation, and completed his undergraduate studies at Princeton (’17).
