"It is incredible how much media has changed over the course of my career, and how much it continues to change. We must all adapt and change with it. But what remains constant is the core process of gathering information, and how we best ensure that information is timely, accurate and relevant to our audiences. It has been an honor to cover GradFUTURES for the University homepage from its earliest brainstorming sessions. Since then, the program has grown and expanded to create many meaningful professional development opportunities for Princeton's graduate students. With the New Media Studio, graduate students will be able to explore how media can enhance their scholarship and open potential career paths beyond the academy. I am excited to join the New Media Studio as a program partner and share my experiences as a communicator in the media industry and in academia."
