Bio/Description

Catherine supports the University's efforts to educate the public about the outcomes and societal benefits of research conducted by faculty members, staff researchers and students. She is the editor of Princeton's annual magazine Discovery: Research at Princeton, and writes regularly about research in articles that appear in print and on the University's homepage. Prior to working at Princeton, Catherine was a science writer for magazines such as Nature, New Scientist and National Geographic’s Green Guide. She is the author of the book Green Guide Families: The Complete Reference for Eco-Friendly Parents, published by National Geographic. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of California-Santa Barbara and a master’s degree in public health from the University of California-Berkeley. She also earned a science writing certificate at the University of California-Santa Cruz.
