He has extensive experience in journalism, communications, and digital media, covering topics such as US politics, Russia and the former Soviet Union, and global conflict and crisis. He has worked for BuzzFeed News, World Learning, and the International Crisis Group, and his work has appeared in various publications such as Slate, the Daily Beast, the New York Times, PBS NewsHour, Al Jazeera, and CNN.com. He holds a dual master’s degree in Russian & Slavic studies and journalism from New York University and a bachelor’s degree in international relations from Brown University. He is passionate about mentoring aspiring journalists, researchers, and communicators who want to make an impact in the world.
