Title Head of Communications, PPPL Bio/Description B. Rose Huber is head of communications at the Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory, a U.S. Department of Energy national laboratory operated by Princeton University. In this role, she is responsible for leading communications efforts that advance the Laboratory’s identity, reputation, and mission on a national and international scale. Prior to joining PPPL, she spent nine years at the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs, most recently as its director of communications. She’s also served in communications roles at both the University of Pittsburgh and the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UPMC), along with non-profit organizations in Washington, D.C., and Pittsburgh. Rose earned a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing & Publishing Arts from the University of Baltimore and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and English from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. At her core, Rose is a storyteller — committed to advancing solutions for today's most-pressing global issues by elevating expert voices and making research accessible.
