Bio/Description

Abraham (Avi) Wolf is a Ph.D. Candidate in Chemical & Biological Engineering, and a participant in the Venture Capital and Startups GradFUTURES Learning cohort.

“I am so grateful to GradFUTURES for coordinating the Venture Capital and Startups cohort. It’s a great way to quickly learn the core tenets of the funding ecosystem for entrepreneurs, even if just to learn the jargon and dip our first feet into the lingo of financiers and venture capitalists. Mark and Jim are passionate about reinforcing the strong bond in the Princeton network, and are amazing at teaching all of us, even if we come with wildly different knowledge bases. It’s also a good way to meet graduate students in other departments or schools around campus who I otherwise would never meet! Thanks!”

Avi also participated in the Industry Exploration Day to Bristol Myers-Squibb.

“The BMS exploration day was an tremendous opportunity to learn about a great local company and all the quality work they do. We were able to grasp an overview of the many foci of Bristol-Myers Squibb, and heard speakers delve into specific areas of science, research, pursuits of the company, or disciplines to apply their scientific knowledge outside of research. The people there were also eager to engage with us, allowing us to make connections both for learning more about BMS or the pharma industry generally, and network with insiders for future roles and opportunities. Thanks for building this great program/environment!”
