Duncan Jepson founded Liberty Shared (previously Liberty Asia), a leading global NGO ranked in the Top 500 NGOs in 2017 by Geneva Global, focused on anti-human trafficking, modern slavery and wildlife trafficking. Liberty Asia has pioneered an approach using existing anti-money laundering infrastructure and laws to disrupt the supply of banking and financial services to the funding of modern slavery and human trafficking. With the support of the US State Department, Liberty Asia has developed and implemented the only victim case management system for NGOs to manage, store and analyze victim data and to create larger data sets. The system is currently used by 49 NGOs across Asia with over 23,000 cases. In 2015, Liberty Asia designed, built and launched Freedom Collaborative, the only user content generated NGO targeted online platform which now has the largest global community of anti-human trafficking, presently 560 NGOs and over 3300 individual users representing over 950 NGOs. Innovations for Successful Societies has recognized the work of Duncan and Liberty Shared.
