Alfredo García is the Director of Major Giving at the Bloch School of Management at the University of Missouri, Kansas City (UMKC). He has been a fundraising professional ever since he graduated with his PhD in Sociology from Princeton. Prior to UMKC, Alfredo served as Associate Executive Director of Miami City Ballet and taught at the University of Miami and Florida International University, as well as writing as a freelancer for various publications on the topics of religion, arts, neighborhoods, and real estate. He has a BS from Duke University and an MTS from Harvard University.
