Event Description

Join Carol Barash, PhD *89, founder and CEO of Story2 (www.story2.com) in a full-ranging exploration of the successes and challenges of professional development outside the academy. The goal of this half-day workshop is to bring together graduate students and graduate alumni to share stories and explore common themes in launching and growing high-value careers which leverage the unique skill sets and leadership competencies gleaned through graduate professional development. Sponsored by the Graduate Student Government and the GradFUTURES professional development team in the Office of the Dean of the Graduate School, this discussion is part of the University's ongoing commitment to graduate student and graduate alumni professional development and success. A networking reception will follow bringing together workshop participants with all graduate students and alumni attendees.
