Garner Soltes *16 from BCG will lead this interactive workshop to provide an inside scoop on the career path to management consulting. Dr. Soltes will discuss strategies for navigating the interview process in addition to tackling case interviews as an advanced degree candidate. A Q&A session will follow the presentation.

Garner joined BCG in June 2017 after taking a six-month break following the completion of his Ph.D. in molecular biology at Princeton. Garner started as a consultant in the New Jersey office, and has worked with clients from leading public and private sector healthcare entities ever since.

His work has ranged from developing a five-year cell & gene therapy strategy for a leading biopharma company to assisting a world-renowned epidemiologist in setting criteria for the reopening of a U.S. state after COVID-19 lockdown. In 2019, Garner became a project leader and now guides teams of consultants and clients to achieve joint project goals. In his personal time, Garner enjoys cycling, baking, and spending time with his partner and 2-year old daughter.
