Participants will attend four workshops where they will learn about version control, metadata, web publishing, and more as they build their own website. While this is open to all, we expect this will be of particular interest to graduate students, postdocs, and research staff who wish to excel at developing and maintaining digital projects. If you are interested in attending, please complete an application by Tuesday, January 21. If you have any questions, please email [email protected]. "GitHub and Getting to Know Your Computer" is the first session in a four-part series. The other workshops in the series are: "The Web, Markdown, and Data" (February 19), "CollectionBuilder and Local Development" (March 5), and "Advanced Building and Basic Computational Methods" (March 19). Accessibility To request accommodations for this or any event, please contact the organizer or James M. Van Wyck at least 3 working days prior to the event.
