About the GRADitude Award: The GradFUTURES GRADitude Award for Advancing Graduate Professional Development recognizes national leaders —either individuals or organizations—who have influenced the field of graduate professional development in profound and substantial ways. This year’s Honoree: Joy Connolly ‘91, President of the American Council of Learned Societies About the Clio Hall Award: This award is presented by the Graduate School's professional development team to faculty, staff, graduate alumni, and graduate students in recognition of significant contributions to the professional development of Princeton graduate students. This year’s Honorees: Cole Crittenden *05, Ian Gunady *24, Ken Noonan *72, and Keely Swan The name for the Graduate School’s GradFUTURES Clio Hall Award is based on “Clio Hall," which is a landmark building at the University, built more than 125 years ago (1893), and is the home of the Graduate School’s administrative offices. Clio Hall originally housed the “Cliosophic Society," the oldest college debating club in the US, and that led to the adoption of the name “Clio Hall." The award itself is a miniature replica of Clio Hall, a Greek-revival style building. The Clio Hall Award--a 3D printed replica of Clio Hall, home of the Office of the Dean of the Graduate School--has been produced with the generous support of the Council on Science and Technology. Awardees also receive a personalized gift courtesy of Princeton University Press. This event is hosted by the Princeton University Graduate School as part of the 2025 GradFUTURES Forum, a weeklong professional development conference for graduate students offering opportunities for meaningful professional growth and exploration of futures within and beyond the academy. With many inspiring keynote speakers, interactive workshops, career panels, and networking receptions, the 2025 GradFUTURES Forum is open to the broader graduate community at Princeton and beyond. Sponsorship of an event does not constitute institutional endorsement of external speakers or views presented.
