Participants will learn about computer architecture, code optimization and parallel programming paradigms for CPUs and GPUs. Day 1: Monday, October 14 at 10:00 AM-4:00 PM Day 2: Tuesday, October 15 at 10:00 AM-4:00 PM For additional information: https://researchcomputing.princeton.edu/fall-break-2024-bootcamp Lunch will be provided on both days. Enrollees will be contacted by email about dietary restrictions. Format: Presentation with hands-on exercises. Target audience: Students and researchers with a fair amount of programming experience looking to transition from running serial codes on their laptops to running parallel jobs on a HPC cluster. Knowledge prerequisites: Prior experience with Linux and C, C++ or Fortran is required in order to participate in this bootcamp.
