This series will provide clarity of faculty life in diverse institutions, revealing essential skills and mindsets for career success. Through data-transparency, a systems lens, and knowledge of resources and opportunities, you can craft an intentional plan for professional development, while learning from Princeton faculty, staff and alumni who serve as faculty in diverse institutions. The 2024 cohort of Future Faculty series for science and engineering graduate students and postdocs is scheduled on July 29-31, 12-4 pm with a bonus online session on August 7th at 12PM. The in person part of this series will wrap with a reception on July 31 at 4:30 pm. Day 3: DEI and Faculty Life in Diverse Institutions Grantsmanship: systems view, approaches, skills and mindset for success faculty life in princeton and growing research over time effective teaching practices Faculty life in public university and community college Speakers Ardon Shorr, Lecturer in Princeton Writing Program Mariangela Lisanti, Professor, Physics James Martiney, Professor of Biology, Middlesex College Ransford Pinto, Associate Director Graduate Pedagogy, McGraw Center for Teaching and Learning Lunch will be served. Reception. The series will wrap with a networking reception for speakers, campus partners and cohort at 4.30 pm.
