Event Description

In this hands-on ORCID training, participants will be guided through how to populate the appointments, education, and publication sections of the ORCID record.

 

Prerequisites:

  • You must be familiar with ORCID and have our own account set up. You can watch this recording, which introduces the tool.
  • For anyone acting as a delegate, you must have your own ORCID record and have been made a “Trusted Individual” by the Faculty/Researcher. See ORCID’s guide for how add a “Trusted Individual” your account or watch this short video.
  • Have an authoritative and complete CV of the researcher on hand to check imported publications.

 

Expectations:

  • You will be required to share your screen and participate. The instructor will guide participants through the steps.
