Event Description
Join us for day 2 of Future Faculty bootcamp for humanists and social scientists. (Open to all, regardless of whether you could attend day 1.)

This session will focus on the changing nature of faculty life. You will gain understanding of the range of skills that search committees look for how to best prepare for the diverse responsibilities of faculty roles. We’ll also discuss the changing nature of these roles in the humanities and social sciences, as well as changes to the ways research is funded in the humanities and social sciences.

Speakers Include:
- Anna Shields, Gordon Wu '58 Professor of Chinese Studies. Professor of East Asian Studies. Chair, Department of East Asian Studies
- Jennifer Speed, Research Development Strategist, Princeton University
- Kelly Friedenfelds, Corporate Engagement and Foundation Relations
- James M. Van Wyck, Assistant Dean for Professional Development
