Event Description
Join us for the first a three day Future Faculty bootcamp for humanists and social scientists.

This session will focus on assessing the landscape of faculty roles in diverse institutions (research universities, liberal arts college and community colleges). Along with a view from the academic job market from the perspective of a DGS, we’ll benefit from data-driven insights from Academic Analytics, the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, as well as hands-on exercises that engage data, the academic job market, and representative outcomes.

Join us to learn more about:

- types of faculty roles within diverse institutions
- hiring trends and insights on profiles of successful faculty hires in diverse institutions
- strategies for tailoring academic job market materials
- a look at the UK academic job market
- case studies that detangle lore of TT job market from the data as it is today
