Dr. Sands' work involves helping leaders and organizations to navigate a future defined by uncertainty, disruption, and change. She serves on the board of directors of five companies (in technology, real estate, and banking) and previously held C-suite roles in financial services, where she specialized in enterprise transformation. She is also a partner at Propel Performance Group, a Forbes.com contributor (where she write about leadership and strategy) and an international speaker. She teaches workshops in Effective Communication and a class on Female Entrepreneurship at the Keller Center. This event is part of the GradFUTURES FORUM-- a week-long conference dedicated to graduate student professional development and "Broadening the Impact of the Ph.D, within and Beyond the Academy."
