Fellowship Description

This TeamRec University Administrative Fellow is responsible for:

  • Assisting with general operations of the Group Fitness program.
  • Class announcements via the listserv, data management
  • Assisting and leading event planning for Campus Rec events: taking lead on Staff and Faculty Appreciation Week
  • Attending and promoting Group Fitness Programming,
  • Serving as a member of the TeamRec Advisory Board
  • Teaching at least one weekly class on the Group Fitness schedule
  • Providing mentorship to fellow instructors (1:1 coaching, co-teaching opportunities)
  • Assisting Group Fitness Coordinator with evaluations of instructors on the current schedule

This position may also be asked to assist with routine miscellaneous tasks for the Group Fitness Program. This position will work for about 10 hours a week.

Coordinator of Recreational Programming

Erika works in Campus Recreation overseeing the group fitness and instructional programs. She has a team of over 30 instructors who teach 50 classes a week during the semester in a variety of disciplines. Along with group fitness, she works to host Campus Rec events including Stress Less Week and the annual Cycle-A-Thon.
