She supports doctoral students and postdocs in their holistic development as learners, scholars, and individuals by developing learner-targeted programs, conducting topic-specific workshops, and providing personalized consultations. Shaofei came to Princeton in 2022 as a lecturer in the Princeton Writing Program, teaching first-year seminars. Previously, she worked at Case Western Reserve University, teaching graduate and undergraduate writing courses. She received her Ph.D. in Teaching and Curriculum from the Warner Graduate School of Education at the University of Rochester and was a Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant.Don't be afraid to take a detour from where you think you are heading. Be curious. Be open to all possibilities. Eventually, your true passion will lead you to where you are supposed to be.
