Rob is Director of Humanities, Arts, and Culture Programs at the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and co-director of the Humanities Indicators. Prior to the Academy, he spent 24 years at the American Historical Association, in positions ranging from editorial assistant to director of research and publications. He is the author of one book and over 200 articles on various aspects of history and the humanities.

I converted one graduate-level statistics course and past experience as an editor on the student newspaper into my first career job at the American Historical Association.
