Title Technology Licensing Associate Office Phone 609-258-3653 Email [email protected] Bio/Description Gill works as a Technology Licensing Associate and is responsible for managing the portfolio of technologies from chemistry, materials & engineering. He interacts with faculty members to solicit invention disclosures, conducts patentability and commercial viability assessment, interfaces with patent attorneys to obtain and protect intellectual property rights and develops commercialization strategies to translate new technologies from laboratory to the marketplace. He also engages with the private sector to negotiate agreements in the process of technology transfer. Prior to joining Princeton, Gill worked as a Licensing Associate at the University of Delaware for close to 3 years where he worked to commercialize university research by forming successful partnerships with the private sector. Gill holds a Professional Science Master’s degree in Biotechnology from the University of Delaware and a Bachelor of Engineering in Biotechnology from MIT, Manipal. He is an active member of the Association of University Technology Managers (AUTM) and serves on the AUTM Eastern Committee. He is also a candidate Registered Technology Transfer Professional (cRTTP) and a recipient of the Howard Bremer Scholarship.
