Email [email protected] Website Personal Website Bio/Description Kymberley “Kym” Chu is a PhD student in Anthropology at Princeton University and a social impact fellow at XPRIZE. Her academic research examines how communities perceive the anthropogenic drivers of human-animal conflict in Malaysia. Kym is leveraging her qualitative data analytics and community engagement skills for XPRIZE’s Healthspan Project. With my anthropological toolkit, I situate a wide range of qualitative data, such as lived experiences and interviews, in broader societal contexts. This is crucial for reframing cultural perceptions around equitable solution-making processes and harnessing the creative dynamics of collaboration in addressing the world’s most pressing issues. The GradFUTURES staff provided ample constructive feedback on translating my academic research skills into applied settings.
