Courtney is responsible for the development and facilitation of sponsored research training classes for research administrators to help foster expertise within our partnering departments. Additionally, she oversees the Grants Management Support Services (GMSS) team, providing support with proposal development and daily transactional activity with sponsored research. Additionally, to ensure compliance with sponsor guidelines and applicable state and federal regulations, she provides administrative guidance to both faculty and department administrators through the research lifecycle. 

Courtney manages all communications from ORPA including the ORPA News & Communications listserv as well as the Grants Managers listserv.

Courtney has more than 20 years of research administration experience covering both pre- and post-award tasks as well as departmental administration and oversight. She joined ORPA in 2019 as a Grant & Contract Administrator and in May 2022 transitioned to the Shared Services & Training Manager.  Courtney began her tenure at Princeton in 2011 in the Department of Physics and then the Grants and Business Manager in the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Department. Additionally, Courtney was a Project Coordinator at Rutgers University Coastal Ocean Observation Laboratory for eight years before joining the staff at Princeton.
