Bio/Description

Anna Dulencin is the director of the Eagleton Science and Politics Program which aims to strengthen bridges between scientists and policymakers. The Program explores how science, technology, and politics intersect; the political systems that connect them; and how deeper understanding and clearer communication within and across these disciplines can benefit policymakers, scientists, and the larger public. The Program also administers the Eagleton Science and Politics Fellowship, which places scientists, engineers, and healthcare professionals as science advisors into NJ State government. Anna is a neuroscientist with research background in autism, schizophrenia, and stem cells, and is a visiting research fellow in the Rutgers University Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology studying the infant microbiome.
